The Joint Admission and M atriculation Board has released the results of the 2019 UTME. This was confirmed to  PUNCH Online  on Saturday by the Board’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dr. Fabian Benjamin. The 2019 UTME was held from April 11 to April 18, with over 1.8 million registered candidates. When called to know if all the results have been released, or if they will be released in batches because of the issues surrounding the conduct of the examination, Benjamin said he was in a meeting and that our Correspondent should call later.

‘Black Panther’ star, Chadwick Boseman will produce and star as Japan’s first African samurai in the historical film, ‘Yasuke’. News Agency of Nigeria  reports that Boseman gained global recognition as T’Challa in the Marvel flick and is known for portraying strong, iconic black characters in films. Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage has signed an international recording deal with Universal Music Group. UMG is an American global  music  corporation and is the world leader in music-based entertainment. The group announced through their official Instagram account that they were “thrilled to welcome Tiwa Savage, one of Africa’s biggest stars to the Universal Music Group Family”.
