Dr. Wendy Okolo An exceptional Nigerian-American woman named Wendy Okolo has emerged as the first-ever black woman that will earn a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas, United States. Wendy Okolo achieved this outstanding at the age of 26. She started her higher education in the United States after being accepted to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas. Wendy excelled in her undergraduate program and finally earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.
