Soldiers shoot 15-year-old boy, keke operator dead in Lagos

COAS: Farouk Yahaya and Pelumi   The family of a 15-year-old boy, Pelumi Sulaimon, have been thrown into mourning after soldiers attached to Operation MESA allegedly shot him dead around Makoko, in the Yaba area of Lagos State. According to residents in the area, the soldiers were hired by political thugs to carry out a reprisal on their opponents in the community on Sunday, February 26. WEXERES News gathered that when the soldiers got to the community, they started shooting indiscriminately and in the process, a stray bullet hit Pelumi who was on his way to buy drinks for his friends to celebrate his birthday. BREAKING: Terrorists Ambush Nigerian Army Convoy, Abduct Commanding Officer, Lt. Col. Ahmed

ALieutenant Colonel of the Nigerian Army, N.B. Ahmed has been abducted following an ambush on a military convoy by gunmen suspected to be terrorists. WEXERES NEWS gathered that the senior military officer was abducted along Tsafe (Zamfara)/Funtua (Katsina) road on Friday, January 6. The abducted officer is the new commanding officer of the 8 Division of the Nigerian Army, Sokoto. “Our new boss who resumed on Friday was attacked while being escorted to Kano. BREAKING: Nigerian Army Rescues Female Soldier Abducted, Stripped Naked, Tortured By Unknown Gunmen

The Nigerian Army has rescued a female Lieutenant, P. P. Johnson abducted by unknown gunmen terrorising the South-East part of the country. A trending video showed the officer being tortured by the gunmen after she was abducted in her hometown, Ihube. She was said to have travelled to her hometown for the Yuletide season. “She was just conferred with the rank of Lieutenant in the Nigerian Army. She passed out on December 17 after being commissioned from the Direct Short Service Course,” a military source said. “She was kidnapped at her home in Ibube. WEXERES News has exclusively obtained more information on how a Nigerian Army General was crushed to death  According to information reaching us from an insider who wants to remain anonymous, at about 152230A on 15th November 2022, Brig Gen OA James, the Director of Finance NAFRC was knocked down by a vehicle driven by 04NA/98/397 Corporal ABAYOMI EBUN of NARC Abuja.  The soldier who resides at Block P, Old Barracks NAFRC was on pass and driving recklessly inside the barracks as he was said to be drunk.  The senior officer was walking to his residence inside the Barracks when he was hit and knocked down by the soldier.  The senior officer was rushed to NAFRC Medical Center where he was confirmed dead. The soldier have been detained with NAFRC Provost for further investigation.

Kuje prison attack; heavy security as military embark on aerial patrol, 600 inmates escaped-minister

…as soldiers, security agencies arrest more prisoners There is heavy security presence at Kuje town where gunmen suspected to be terrorists bombed the Nigerian Correctional Center and released several terrorists in custody. This is just as the Nigerian Air Force has embarked on aerial surveillance to aid ground troops who are in pursuit of the terrorists in the forest.   So far the operations of soldiers who have been on the trail of the terrorists and the prisoners who escaped from custody is beginning to yield positive results with the arrest of a good number of the prisoners. Problems in the Nigerian Army as Officers, Soldiers Plan One-Day Protest Against Poor Equipment, Welfare, and Corruption Under General Yahaya

 According to a source who begged not to be identified, the protest was supposed to expose the corruption of Nigerian army operations under General Faruk Yahayi, the chief of staff. Bandits have attacked a mining site in Niger State and reportedly killed security agents, civilians, and kidnapped three Chinese nationals. The attack was said to have occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Ajata, Aboki in Gurmana ward of Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State. Protest rocks Delta community as soldiers allegedly kill youth hunting snails

Tension gripped Ogulagha community in the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State after soldiers attached to the Forcados Terminal allegedly shot dead a youth in the community, Endurance Kalaepele. WEXERES gathered that the 27-year-old victim was allegedly shot twice while he picked snails. The incident reportedly happened around 11pm on Monday. Enraged youths of the community were said to have gone on the rampage, destroying company vehicles and property, just as they also took over the major roads to express their anger. The community youth president, ThankGod Iyaragba, told journalists that the deceased was with six others hunting snails when he was allegedly shot dead by the soldiers.
