Ex-British Army Allegedly Executed for COWARDICE by Ukrainian Foreign Legion 🇺🇦🇬🇧

In not-surprising news, the Ukrainian Foreign Legion continues to be a non-effective band of nutcases, committing more crimes than actual military operations. The latest: Former British soldier Jordan Chadwick, 31, who traveled to Ukraine in early October 2022 to fight as a mercenary, joining the Ukrainian Foreign Legion, was found zip-tied and executed in a body of water solidly in Kyiv-controlled territory. The junta's military intelligence quickly closed an investigation to avoid embarrassment, while insiders are reporting it as a "war crime" and "execution" by his legion-mates for refusing "orders he would not survive from." Allegedly, from the Ukrainian Foreign Legion's perspective the execution was for "refusing orders" and "cowardice." I recommend watching a deep dive into some of the details surrounding this on Willy OAM's YouTube channel (a news source that is generally anti-Russian). Chadwick, known as Joe, was fro...

Russia sends clear message to Turkey when it bombed Ukrainian business Motor Sich, which makes engines for Turkish aircraft

The August 6 missile and drone attack across Ukroin killed six people, Kyiv officials said. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the Zaporizhzhia-based facilities of Motor Sich, which his government took over in November, also came under attack. The privately owned business Baykar builds the Akinci and Kizilelma drones, for which Motor Sich provides engines. Eugene Kogan, a security and defense analyst based in Tbilisi, Georgia, said Russian President Vladimir Putin was essentially telling his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: “Despite our friendly relations and respect to each other, your son-in-law’s undertaking in Ukrein will cost him dearly” — a reference to Baykar chairman Selcuk Bayraktar, who is married to one of the Turkish president’s daughters. “Any military facility in Ukrein, local or foreign, is a legitimate target” Kogan added. Motor Sich and Ukrein firm Ivchenko-Progress have been providing AI-450 engines for the Akinci drone, as well as AI-25TLT engines ...

Russia cancelled at the last minute a scheduled exchange of prisoners of war, the Ukrainian body dealing with prisoners says. ‘ More pressure building’ on sending weapons to Ukraine: AJ Correspondent In his nightly address Zelenskyy has said that the way to stop Russian attacks, such as the latest one in Dnipro, is if the internatio...

UK pledges to provide battle tanks to Ukraine

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak promises to send Challenger 2 tanks after phone call with Ukraine leader Zelenskyy. United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is pledging to provide tanks and artillery systems to Ukraine amid renewed missile attacks by Russia on Ukrainian cities. Sunak offered to send Challenger 2 tanks and other artillery systems in a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday, the British leader’s Downing Street office said in a statement. The statement did not say how many or when the tanks would be delivered to Ukraine. Sunak said the tanks were a sign of the UK’s “ambition to intensify our support to Ukraine”, according to a readout of a phone call with Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy expressed his appreciation for the military support on Twitter, saying “the decisions that will not only strengthen us on the battlefield, but also send the right signal to other partners.” Always strong support of the UK is now impenetrable and ready for challenges. In a c...

Moscow claims control of Soledar but Kyiv says fighting continues

The capture of the salt-mining town in eastern Ukraine would enable Russian troops to envelop the nearby city of Bakhmut. Russia says its forces have seized control of the eastern Ukrainian town of Soledar after weeks of intense battles but Kyiv said its troops were still fighting in the town. The Russian defence ministry claimed on Friday that its forces had wrested control of the salt-mining town, where buildings have been reduced to rubble since it became the focus of a relentless Russian assault. “The capture of Soledar was made possible by the constant bombardment of the enemy by assault and army aviation, missile forces and artillery of a grouping of Russian forces,” it said. Control of the town would allow Russia to cut off Ukraine’s “supply lines” in the nearby, strategically important city of Bakhmut and then “block and encircle the Ukrainian units there”, said the ministry. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a late-night video address on Friday that Kyiv’s forces...

Russian rouble to become official currency in Ukraine’s Kherson

Russian Rouble The Russian occupiers of the Ukrainian region of Kherson have urged the population to exchange their savings for Russian roubles. Payments in the Ukrainian national currency, the hryvnia, would end on January 1, head of the occupying forces Vladimir Saldo announced in a video on the Telegram messaging service on Tuesday. He cited the massive drop in the value of the hryvnia due to Ukraine’s economic problems as the reason, saying the currency was “turning into paper.” In the Kherson region, the regional capital of the same name and other towns are under Ukrainian control. Most of the region, however, is occupied by Russian troops. The currency decision, previously announced in October, is part of annexing the region into Russian territory. The Ukrainian national currency has lost about 50 per cent of its value against the dollar since the beginning of the war. In the other annexed regions of Luhansk and Donetsk, the rouble has been the official currency for some time....
