11-year-old Nigerian kid named Muhammad Kaumi Bashir has invented a mini-power generator that works with fuel. Muhammad who hailed from Bornu State, Northern Nigeria was reported to be a first-year student in High school. Being a very inquisitive and brilliant young boy, he decided to fabricate the mini-generator to pursue his dream of becoming an Electrical Engineer. His invention was able to power light bulbs and could be expanded. According to Bashir’s mother, Mallama Yakaka Kaumi, her son started displaying his creative talent in electronic and mechanical fabrications, right from the tender age of five. His life has so far been about inventing and repairing electronic appliances,” she told PRNigeria. The APC presidential candidate failed to present his primary and secondary certificates to the electoral commission.   Asiwaju Bola Tinubu , the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 election, has told the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that his academic certificates were stolen by some 'unknown persons'. Xavier, one half of a set of twins born to billionaire, Elon Musk, has asked a Los Angeles court for a change of name and surname.  Xavier Musk and his brother Griffin were born from Musk’s relationship with Canadian writer, Justine Wilson, in 2004. According to Marca, Xavier decided on a change of name upon discovering that his sexual orientation was different from others. He has since requested to be called Vivian Jenna Wilson and is waiting for the authorities to grant it. In the documents filed, Xavier says she wants to be recognised as a woman, but the name change is not only related to her gender. "I no longer live with my biological father nor do I wish to be related to him in any way," emphasised the teenager who is legally still called Xavier.

Ukrainian officials have said they struck a Russian tugboat in the Black Sea using two Harpoon missiles on Friday. It is the first time Ukraine has announced it has destroyed a Russian vessel with Western-supplied weapons. A statement from the Ukrainian military says the Harpoons used were given to Ukraine by the US. Ukrainian military officials have said they struck the Russian Navy's Vasiliy Bekh tugboat in the Black Sea using two Harpoon missiles supplied by the US. The action marks the first time Ukraine has announced it has destroyed a Russian vessel with Western-supplied armaments. On Friday, the attack was announced on Ukraine's Armed Forces Strategic Communications Directorate's Telegram channel.   Nigeria’s security situation appears to be worsening as the country witnessed yet another attack on churches following the killing of worshippers in Owo, a town in Ondo State. Just two weeks after the incident in Owo, gunmen struck again, this time in Kaduna State where they attacked two churches. The worship centres which came under attack by the gunmen believed to be bandits were Saint Moses Catholic Church and Maranatha Baptist Church – both in Kajuru Local Government Area of the state. No fewer than three people were confirmed to have lost their lives to the attacks on three communities – Ungwan Fada, Ungwan Turawa, and Ungwan Makama, all in Rubu general area of Kajuru.
