314 suspected Boko Haram, ISWAP members surrender in Borno


 The Nigerian Army on Wednesday said 314 suspected members of Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province have surrendered.

They were said to have surrendered to troops in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State as a result of the ongoing offensive onslaught against terrorism in the North East.

According to a terse statement by the Army, 12 farmers were also rescued by troops.

“Profiling of the surrendered terrorists is ongoing,” the statement added.
